The Scoop
An outstanding theme park, but a bit heavy on the gift shops. Leave at least one day to see it all with the kids (who will love it.)

Tour:

One of the most recognizable and creepy sights is the infamous Bates Motel with not one but two Psycho houses, one from the original Hitchcock classic and the other from the pointless remake.

The tram also passes reproductions of streets from Old Mexico, London, and New York as well as sets used in Sparticus, Three Amigos, and Dante's Peak.

More interested in the practical realities of film production? Upgrade to the VIP Experience and go behind-the-scenes on a personalized guided tour of the studio. This tour includes visits to sound stages and production facilities including wardrobe and prop departments. And the VIP Experience also gets you front of the line access to all rides, attractions and shows in the park. That's right - no waiting in lines! Some of you may find that reason enough to lay out $125 per person for the VIP Experience. Keep in mind that this is a limited-space tour and children under 5 are not allowed.
