The Scoop
An outstanding theme park, but a bit heavy on the gift shops. Leave at least one day to see it all with the kids (who will love it.)

Tour:

After your face-to-face encounter with the King, you are dropped smack-dab into the grinding destruction of an 8.3 earthquake. This part of the tour is pretty old, and was created long before some of the more pyrotechnically advanced attractions, but it still manages to impress with a 'sensaraound' experience that would have made Irwin Allen proud.

The tour continues through several more attractions then moves on to the lot for a glimpse of the studio's operations.

You'll see different facades, set pieces and sound stages featured in hit movies such as The Grinch and The Truman Show. Other notable sights include the clock tower square from the Back To the Future films and Site B from The Lost World. There is also a lake and backdrop where some scenes from The Truman Show and Apollo 13 were filmed.
