ABC merged with Capital Cities, Inc. in 1986 and became Capital Cities/ABC, Inc. That company in turn merged with the Walt Disney Company and became ABC, Inc. in 1996.

Over the years some of your favorite shows have taped at the ABC Television Studios, including American Bandstand, Password, Family Feud, The Dating Game, and Let's Make a Deal.   Currently the studios are home to the ABC soaps General Hospital and Port Charles.
